In March, I took part in a working visit within the NEST Training Course on Risk Mitigation and Conflict Management, organised by The GloRe Network as part of the NEST project in Crotone, Italy (13–20 March 2026).
The training focused on risk management, conflict prevention and resolution, as well as supporting volunteers involved in European Solidarity Corps projects.

It brought together organisations working in the youth and volunteering sector from different countries, creating space for exchange, collaboration and shared learning.
During the programme, we explored:
— approaches to volunteer recruitment and support
— mentorship practices
— non-formal education tools
— ways to manage group dynamics and conflicts
On the final day, as part of the “Inclusion to Local Action” activity, we took part in a local initiative at a school, where we presented volunteering opportunities and international projects to young people.

A big part of the experience was dedicated to exchanging perspectives, discussing current challenges in youth work, and building connections for future cooperation.
These kinds of initiatives not only strengthen professional skills, but also help create partnerships that improve the quality and impact of future projects.
