Last Saturday, January 31st, we celebrated a children’s carnival at the IB Polska office in Nowa Huta — a joyful event filled with fun, colors, costumes, and lots of smiles. It was a wonderful opportunity for children and families to come together, spend time with one another, and enjoy a festive and creative afternoon in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The celebration began with a mask-making workshop. Each child designed and decorated their own carnival mask according to their personal style, choosing different colors, shapes, and decorations. The activity encouraged creativity and self-expression, and everyone enjoyed sharing materials and ideas. It was a lovely moment of teamwork and imagination, as we crafted our masks together like one big family.

After finishing our masks, we moved to the next room, where the real party began. We played games, danced to music, and spent quality time together. The children took part in different fun activities that kept them active and entertained. There was plenty of laughter and excitement as everyone joined in.

We also played with hula hoops, which quickly became one of the favorite activities of the day. The children practiced spinning them around their waists, arms, and even legs, challenging each other and celebrating every small success. It was a great way to combine movement, coordination, and lots of fun.

Later, the mothers joined us, making the celebration even more special. Together, we danced, played games, and even worked on a puzzle as a group. One of the most enjoyable moments was dancing while one of us played the piano. As the music changed, we created our own little dance party and even came up with some fun and interesting melodies.

Finally, we ended the celebration by singing Disney songs and dancing together while wearing our carnival masks. It was the perfect way to close a day full of joy, creativity, and shared memories that we will surely remember for a long time.
