A Day of Szopkas, Soup, and Smiles

Last Tuesday we spent time all together as a big volunteer group for the January Tuesday meeting. We had a guided tour of the exhibition of the Szopkas, the Krakowian tradition of crèches. It was so impressive to see what people were crafting all by themselves and from scratch. Especially the Off part of the exhibition, with the special Szopkas, which we all enjoyed.

After the visit, we went to the office and prepared lunch all together. The soup was really tasty and, in the meantime, we played a Kahoot about the ESC, and our winners Maria P., Sara, and Abril received a prize.

After our lunch, we celebrated our half-time anniversary of the volunteering with a cake and talked about the experience so far. We were naming our own highlights and remembering what we did so far.
