In these last few weeks I have had the pleasure of introducing my country to several groups of seniors here in Krakow. They are part of different Seniors centres, which organised English and Spanish lessons for them.

I was therefore invited to present my country in English so they could learn new facts about it and practise their listening and speaking skills. It was the first time for me to make a presentation in English in front of several people and I can say that I was very proud of myself.

I felt more confident than I had expected and thanks to the conversations I had with older people I was able to find out new information about Poland and new places to visit here in Krakow.

Although at times I needed someone to translate sentences from English into Polish I hope my enthusiasm was mutual and that they enjoyed this exciting new experience as much as I did.

I hope to have more opportunities like this in the future, so remember not to say no should the opportunity arise!
