Have you ever walked across the Vistula river in Krakow? if not then you don’t know the beauty of the Polish magic city.

Last week, our hosting organization, IB Polska, organized a kayak trip on the Vistula river, where we, volunteers, were able to enjoy Krakow’s beautiful views. Despite that, it was one of the last events for some of us, it was still nice to discover the city and speak about our one-year volunteering experience.

For example, Geno, a volunteer from Georgia was so excited after the trip:

“I always wanted to make kayak trip on the Vistula river, to see and discover Krakow’s sightseeing from the water. when our coordinator offered this trip, I was so happy and motivated to join, because I knew that we’d be able to discover the city and spend time together”.

We are able to host our volunteers under the European Solidarity Corps project. it is a funding programme of the European Union that creates opportunities for young people to volunteer, work, train and run their own solidarity projects that benefit communities around Europe.
