I am Salome, a 23 years old girl from Tbilisi, Georgia. I am a classical pianist and make my MA degree in Krakow. Music means everything to me and all my life moves around it. In October 2020, I arrived in Poland for continuing my studies by Erasmus + exchange program and After finishing it I really wanted to devote my time to something different activities besides my profession. I heard about the ESC program from my friend, who is also a volunteer in Krakow and I applied for it.

now, I work in a special school and it is a completely different experience and challenge for me and moreover, it’s a great pleasure to have the opportunity for helping those who need it. Of course, I love traveling, meeting new people, discovering different places, and exploring different cultures. I am pretty sure it will be a really important and exciting experience for me.

Salome joined us as a volunteer in March 2021. We are able to host her as a participant of the #EcoSolidarity project under the European Solidarity Corps. it is a funding program of the European Union that creates opportunities for young people to volunteer, work, train, and run their own solidarity projects that benefit communities around Europe.
