My name is Selin Mutlu. I am a 26 years old person who still believes in unicorns and Santa Claus. I am passionate about travelling and nature! I believe travelling always gives you the best stories. I adore the feeling that I have friends from four corners of the world. Trees are my best friends and surely, I can’t help telling of my flute.

On these days, the ukulele started joining the club. I love painting, books, yoga and handicrafts. I am so into analogue photography. I am an English teacher from Turkey. I came to Krakow to be a volunteer in a kindergarten which is the best place for my child spirit. I wanted to be a volunteer because I believe that the experiences you gain with it cannot be compared to anything else.

When you help somebody and have a hand in something, your best parts of yourself start coming to light. The more you give, the more you’ll have. I think I will learn a lot to improve my teaching skills. Moreover, this is one of the best chances to meet lots of people from different cultures which is my other passion in my life. I am so happy and excited to be in Krakow where you can see the best version of nature.

Selin joined us as a volunteer in September 2020. We are able to host her as a participant of the EcoSolidarity project under the European Solidarity Corps. it is a funding programme of the European Union that creates opportunities for young people to volunteer, work, train and run their own solidarity projects that benefit communities around Europe.
