Cześć, my name is Pau and I’m part of the group of volunteers of IB Polska.
I’m 18 years old and I live in a small city of Spain, Alcoy.
I have already finished school and I decided to join this project. I will be here in Kraków for ten months working in the kindergarten n83, being around little children and giving help to the teachers there.
I am staying in a flat with two other girls, from Austria and Germany.

I discovered ESC projects because of my cousin, and I really wanted to have an experience like that. I chose this specifically because I like being with children, and I am so interested in its learning process and how they face the different challenges around them.
I also wanted to be abroad and had the opportunity to experiment with other cultures, traditions, and ways of life. For me, this will be essential for personal and mental growth. Besides,
being with more volunteers of diverse nationalities and backgrounds helps you to acquire
all types of knowledge as well. I am interested in art and music. I play the violin, and I’m part of an orchestra near my city. I also enjoy watching series and reading. I like to take photos to observe the world and to discover new places.

Kraków will allow me to discover its interesting history and culture. As well as appreciate its
beauty, the architecture, nature, parks and monuments around it.
I think this project will give me the chance to find out different ways of doing things and to
open my mind to a huge number of options and opinions when a problem is confronted.

“It’s much harder to describe than to have an opinion. Infinitely more. In view of
which, everyone has an opinion”
