April at the Multicultural Center – Monthly Summary
April brought a wide variety of events to the Multicultural Center. How did the month look for us? Take a look.
- Throughout April, we spent nearly 30 hours learning Polish together. In addition to our Polish Language Café and language courses, we also launched advanced Polish lessons at the B1/B2 level.
- Language learning wasn’t all — on April 18 we held the first meeting of the English Speaking Club, which turned out to be a great success. If you want to practice conversational English, you now know where to go.
At the Center, we take care of both mind and body — which is why we organized 11 sports events this month.
- Our most popular gathering was the pumpkin mochi workshop prepared in cooperation with Light and Love Home in Poland. Over 20 people joined us, and it’s no surprise — the mochi were delicious.
- The Learn Entrepreneurship workshop was also very well received, as was the special meeting within the social campaign “Through Art to Hearts and Minds,” focusing on Ukrainian Roma in Poland.
- As always, we wrapped up the month with an Open Community Evening. This time, in addition to conversations and meeting new people, we repotted plants together. Thanks to you, the plants in our office will grow large and healthy.
And that’s not all — besides the events organized by the Center, we shared our space with other organizations and initiatives. They held 19 events in total.
Altogether, we welcomed 782 participants in April. Each meeting brings us joy. Thank you for helping us build a multicultural Kraków.
