Siema! My name is Elesa, I\u2019m 26 years old, and I come from the sunny capital of Greece, Athens. I have a Bachelor\u2019s in Business Administration and, before coming here, I was working in IT consulting, so starting my volunteering journey at the Regional Public Library in Krak\u00f3w definitely feels like a change of pace. At the same time, I\u2019ve been involved in Erasmus+ projects, volunteering at events, and organizing workshops for the past eight years, so this project also feels right up my alley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The library seems like such a lively place at the heart of the city, and I\u2019m beyond happy to be organizing lessons there, sharing my language and culture. I think it\u2019s a wonderful way to connect with the local community while also reflecting on and thinking more critically about my own Greek heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another big reason I chose this project was the city itself, and I\u2019m incredibly happy to say that so far, I love Krak\u00f3w! I love going to festivals and gigs, and Krak\u00f3w is full of them. It\u2019s also a very green and walkable city, which is a perfect fit for me since I enjoy taking long walks, listening to some good music, and appreciating the scenery. I\u2019m also hoping that, when the colder months arrive, I\u2019ll finally have some time to cozy up and work on some DIY projects I\u2019ve been procrastinating on for ages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWalk slowly, drink lots of water.\u201d It\u2019s the incredibly simple motto of a character in Haruki Murakami\u2019s After Dark<\/em>, but also an important reminder for me, especially coming from a busy city. Just slow down, enjoy the moment, and take care of your body.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
