Last week, Etta, Esmanur and I traveled to Toru\u0144 to participate in a training. During our time there, we had the chance not only to learn, but also to explore and discover this beautiful and historic city. One of the most memorable parts of our experience was learning about the legends of Toru\u0144 \u2013 especially the touching story of the love between a tower and the river. According to this legend, the city got its name \u201cToru\u0144,\u201d which means \u201cto fall,\u201d symbolizing the sorrow of a love that could not be fulfilled.<\/p>\n\n\n

The training itself was intense and enriching. We learned about\u00a0Youthpass<\/em>\u00a0and the concept of competences, and had many discussions about personal and professional growth. We also had the opportunity to create our own project and share the knowledge we\u2019ve gathered over time. It was a great space for exchanging ideas and building new perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, we were introduced to useful tools and websites where we can explore opportunities in Poland \u2013 such as work or study programs in case we choose to stay in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the cultural highlights of the week was visiting the Ethnographic Museum in Toru\u0144. There, we learned how Polish people traditionally celebrate Easter, and even had the chance to try on traditional clothing from that era, which made the experience even more memorable.<\/p>\n\n\n

Overall, the training was packed with useful information, fun moments, and hands-on activities. It was inspiring, diverse, practical, and full of meaningful interactions. I\u2019m grateful for everything we learned and the connections we made during this unforgettable journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
