Our first week in Krak\u00f3w can be summarized with three words \u2013 new beginning, timelapse and novelty. We spent the whole week getting to know the other volunteers as well as our coordinators and the organization. We also had the chance to visit the community garden where we did some gardening and collected some vegetables. Unfortunately, we had to do a lot of paperwork but now we are officially registered and in possession of Krak\u00f3w\u2019s public transport card.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was also the first time for the majority of us in Poland and more specifically in Krak\u00f3w. Therefore, we ate the famous Pierogis alongside other Polish dishes that we discovered in the mleczny bar near the office. On the weekend we did some sightseeing in the city centre walking around Vistula and the castle. To take advantage of the last day of good weather, we went to the lake and the swimming pools where we probably had the last bath of the year.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I never expected that we would have gotten along that well and I couldn\u2019t have asked for a better first week.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
