Klaudyna, our new coordinator, took our small group to <strong>Niepo\u0142omice<\/strong>. It is a small village that you can reach in one hour from Krakow, going with the bus over the salt mine. Niepo\u0142omice is very near to the city, yet it looks totally different. It is very nice, with a beautiful park and a nice and small city-centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We visited the museum<\/strong>, where there were very interesting pictures and sculptures. We could see some sculptures of <strong>polonaise dancers<\/strong>. Polonaise is a famous and popular Polish, and Polish dance it during the prom they have at the end of high school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the museum, <strong>we had a guided tour of a barn<\/strong>. <strong>We could discover how Polish farmers lived in the past<\/strong>. We could see the tools they used for farming and the daily life objects. There were irons, washing machines, pottery, a bed, a stove&#8230; Thanks to this visit, we know something more of Polish culture and history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end, we had lunch together and Klaudyna read us a legend on the origin of Krakow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We came back to Krakow happy of all the new things we had discovered.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"post-excerpt\">The last summer volunteers\u2019 meeting was perfect for a short trip.
