From the German city of Dr. Oetker, today we present to you Antonia Spantzel! Even though she doesn’t make frozen pizzas, she has other stories to tell, check it out!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Hi, I\u2018m Antonia, I’m 19 years old and I’m from Bielefeld in Germany. It\u2019s the city where Dr. Oetker, its pudding powder, baking mix and the frozen pizza come from. But that was not reason enough for me to stay after finishing high school this year, although the bourbon vanilla pudding is a pleasure to eat (specially when you spoon the powder straight out of the bag).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I wanted to give myself a year to grow and learn about myself, life, different cultures, people, societies, perspectives and everything that new experiences can teach me. At the same time I wanted to crash myself into challenges and get out of my comfort zone with all the frozen pizza. That\u2019s why I chose Poland and to work in a school for students with disabilities. Even though I didn’t know much about Poland, in spite of being a neighbour country of Germany, nor about the work, communication and life with\/of disabled kids.
Also the project with Internationaler Bund Polska offered me the opportunity to engage myself with values like tolerance, diversity, peace, solidarity, community as well as for the environment and ecological issues.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
