This Thursday, I had the chance to go to the Open Day of IB Polska’s Information Point for Foreigners in Kraków at the Multicultural Centre. This event happens every three months and brings together NGOs and Officials from the cities offices from all over Kraków to help foreigners with different challenges, like finding a job and getting a driver’s license. There were translators for many languages available, so everyone could communicate easily.

One great thing about the Open Day is that all the services are in one place. This means visitors don’t have to travel to different parts of the city to get the help they need. Having everything together saves time and makes it easier for newcomers to settle in without feeling overwhelmed. The event also provides a friendly atmosphere where foreigners can meet local organizations and find the resources they need.
Ludmilla, the coordinator of this event, told me that this is the 6th installment and that many foreigners and NGOs take advantage of this offer

Specifically in the context of us Volunteers, some of whom want to stay longer even after the end of the project, this can be very helpful and create an easier way through the bureaucratic struggles of moving to another country. So, if you are in need of any of the aforementioned services, I invite you to check our Social Media such as Facebook or Instagram to be informed of the next Open Day coming up.
