Hello, dzien dobry and hallo.
My name is Etta and I’m from Germany. After graduating from high school, I wanted to do something different before heading back to university to study again. The goal was to live abroad – which has always been a dream of mine- and to do something meaningful in this year.

I’m really interested in traveling and getting to know other cultures, especially learning about the traditional cuisine, as I love cooking.

I looked up different opportunities to volunteer and was really happy to find out about the amazing possibilities with ESC. IB Polska’s project really interested me, as I enjoy working with children. It’s always lovely when they are having fun and making progress along the way. Another big plus for this project is that it’s located in Kraków, which is such a beautiful city.

I’m really looking forward to these next ten months, that will be a completely new experience. Making new friends from different countries, learning a new language and about a new culture and hopefully having the time of my life.
