I attended the ESC training in Warsaw on September 30th. It was a week that taught me different things in many ways. The training was generally good. The first day was a day we spent getting to know each other. The other days were a very active 4 days where we did many activities as a group.
It was a week where we talked about our rights, the concept of volunteering, our projects, and life in Poland. We learned many different things. We had a short Polish lesson every day. We learned basic Polish expressions and different types of Polish words to play games. It was really fun to take a Polish lesson.

At the same time, on Wednesday, we went down to the center of Warsaw as volunteers and researched on the topic we chose. After finishing our research in a short time, we went out to explore Warsaw as all volunteers. We went to a very beautiful garden. At the same time, we toured the center of Warsaw in the evenings, had coffee and chatted together, and visited the largest shopping mall in Warsaw. The last two days, we did creative work that included our expectations for the volunteer project. Everyone was so nice and polite.
It was fun to meet new people and explore Warsaw. The saddest part was that we didn’t have much time to see Warsaw. There are so many places I haven’t seen yet, maybe next time. Thanks for this opportunity! Take care
