On 29 June, a special event took place for the volunteers of Internationaler Bund Polska. For some of them, in fact, it was their last meeting! And that is why the activities held were aimed at retracing our steps within the project, but not only. We all gathered in Kamienica Szara, Krakow’s main square.

We started the day by trying to think of words that directly related to our experience and what we think about the project we are part of.

While the slices of pizza were being enjoyed and shared, the impact created during the volunteering project was discussed in the room. We shared our photos and what they meant to us, stories of personal growth, transformative encounters and bonds created with the community were exchanged, reminding us of the profound effect volunteering can have on individuals and society.

The meeting ended with the presentation of fun diplomas for our achievements over these months and a small gift representing each of us personally.
