We are volunteering at the School and Kindergarten Complex No. 11 in Krakow. As volunteers, we’re doing a lot of different things.

We’re in English classes a lot, mostly helping kids who need a bit of extra support to understand what’s going on. We also run workshops and activities about our countries, Italy and Germany, which is always fun because we get to share a bit of our culture with everyone. We try to make English lessons as fun as possible by mixing in games and activities, so it’s not all just sitting and listening. Plus, we join the kids on school trips, helping out with all the little things that keep things running smoothly.

One cool thing we do is help organize and judge English competitions at the school —it’s always exciting to see how much effort the kids put in. We also spend time doing one-on-one lessons with students who need a bit more help, which feels really rewarding. Everyday we take a lunch break (I usually head to Żabka for a quick bite), and we sometimes help out with things like printing.
