Last Tuesday the 31st of March we all met together as the big volunteer group. For a few of us it was even the chance to meet our new volunteer Helin.

We started the day by sharing our feelings about the past month and this day. We all were tired and so we did multiple energizers throughout the day.

We looked at our expectations, inspirations and fears we noted in September and compared them with our situation nowadays. For a lot of us our fears haven’t come true and our hopes and expectations were fulfilled. It was a great experience to see how our life changed within the past 7 months and how much we developed and adventured. Even though also a few fears came true, we all realized how life went on and even faced difficult situations.

After that, Krystina shared with us a few practical information regarding the youth pass. The volunteering experience sadly comes slowly to an end and we all have to think about how to take advantage of this for the future. We learned that the Youth Pass can be a deciding point in the process of applying because it shows your personal skill. Furthermore Krystina showed us how to find out and filter our competences and to  express them  in a formal way.

After our lunch break Aneta showed us the polish easter traditions, like painting eggs, the baskets or the palms. We also compared different traditions of our home countries. At the end  we painted a few paper eggs to take this festive feeling with us.

We were happy to see you all and so sad to have to say Good Bye to Maria, who is leaving us in April.
