I am a volunteer from Egypt and I work at the Special School Complex No. 11 w Krakowie. This is how my day looks like:

During my ESC (European Solidarity Corps) volunteer experience at Complex School for kids with disabilities in Krakow, I have had the opportunity to work with children who have diverse physical and intellectual disabilities. My role involves supporting teachers and staff in creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. I help assist students with their daily activities, such as communication, eating, and engaging in educational tasks. One of the most rewarding parts of the experience is seeing how much progress each child makes, whether it was in social skills, independence, or academic development.

I also organize creative activities like arts and crafts, baking cookies, and group games that promoted both fun and learning. The school staff is incredibly supportive and helps me to learn more and develop my Polish language and encourages me to speak in Polish.
