I am volunteering at a special kindergarten for children with special needs in Special School Complex nr 4. This is how my workday looks like:

Our day starts with breakfast, and once we return to the classroom, we sing daily songs to engage the children. We help them write their names, the current season, and the day of the week. We also guide them in drawing and coloring the weather for that day. Every morning, we review the days of the week, seasons, and names together.
Afterwards, we go to lunch, and once we’re back, we do some exercises to help the children relax. Throughout the day, we cover various subjects like traffic rules, animals, and recycling. It’s truly fulfilling to witness the children’s progress, as they learn more each day and can finally answer questions about the day’s topic. I’m always there to support them with whatever they need, ensuring they feel safe and encouraged in their learning journey.
