Hi, I’m Giacomo, I just arrived here in Krakow from my hometown, a village near Milano - in the north of Italy - after finishing my high school. I’m about to start my project in the School and Pre-School complex nr 11.

I chose to undertake this experience for two main reasons: first of all the dream that I have since childhood to move and live abroad, then my will to work with children, which is what makes me happy and proud of what I’m doing: during my internship in italian schools I felt more appreciated and valued than I’ve ever had and I hope to feel the same way here. Also I’m really excited to work in a different school system, based on different methods and culture.

I really hope to be helpful and supportive to the school in which I’ll work and to IB Polska, contributing with my personality and my strengths, working on my weaknesses and always trying to be the best version of me. I’m sure that this is going to be a life-changing experience and that I’ll be a very different person when I’ll be back in Italy at the end of my project, but I also hope to leave something beautiful to the people who works here at IB Polska and for the children of the school, by building important and honest human bonds.
