Youthpass, planting, Easter, japanese art...

March started feeling very wintery and will leave us with some great spring days. We’ve had a few workshops and activities organized this month.

Youthpass

We started with a Youth pass workshop where we got to learn the steps to follow when creating one, which information should be on it, how we can use it in the future for academic or professional purposes…

Plants plants plants…

The other workshop we did was a completed different topic, and in this one we we’re able to plant our own plants. We had some big plans that needed to be repotted so we split them up in smaller plants and put them into new pots with new soil. Most of the plants were left for the office, but we were also lucky and got to bring some home.

Easter Celebration!

Spring stared and we got some sunny days, it was already time for the most important event of the month our Thursday meeting (for scheduling reasons this month happened on a Wednesday). This month we missed a lot of the volunteers that for different reasons couldn’t make it. As always we started the day with some coffee and looking at the timetable of the day. We did an energizer game and filmed our personal videos. After that Artsiom explained to us the presentation about Easter made by Fanni. We learnt some polish traditions during this time as well as others from our different countries. It was time to make our own Easter decorations, we had some eggs to decorate with different paints, ribbons, flowers…

Japanese art exhibition

With our eggs finished it was time to move to the next activity, the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology. We got to see both of the exhibitions one old one and a modern one, where japanese art was mixed with polish artists.
