I’m Maria, I’m 22 years old and I’m from Mallorca, Spain. Living in an island has made me a lover of watching sunsets by the sea so I try to go watch them with friends when I have time.

For the next few months I’ll be a volunteer in a Kindergarten. I’ve always enjoyed being around young kids and taking care of them, so I decided to study a degree in Early Childhood Education, when I finished last July I knew I wanted to take part in some kind of international project. That’s how I found out about the European Solidarity Corps. I knew it would be the right project for me because it had the perfect mix of being abroad while also spending time with children in a kindergarten.

I’m hoping to make the most out of this experience and that I get to learn a lot about the people here!
