Salut!

My name is Eugenia, and I am from a small country in Europe – Republic of Moldova.

While running for achievements, I forgot to give myself time to understand the woman I was becoming. I needed to give myself time to explore myself, the world. I wanted to do something valuable not only for my self-development, but also for society. Last but not least I wished to give shape to words such as inclusion, well-being, tolerance, acceptance and of course diversity.

Volunteering in a place for people with special needs was on my wishlist, but due to university, I left that list for later. But that later never came. When I finally realised it was the right time, I was not afraid to go for it. This project in Poland was the best choice for me, because I could be helpful, for myself and other people.

I am thankful to be here. I can help kids with whom I am not ashamed to use my stumbling Polish, but don’t worry, I am trying to improve it, and with the support of IB Polska it can actually be done.

I am thankful for everything and more!
