Today, We want to introduce you, our new volunteer from France. she joined us one month ago and going to stay here until the end of July.

My name is Julie Laugier, and I’m 25 years old. In France, I am a student of the MA program of political communication. This year, I decided to do a gap year to take time for thinking about my professional and personal future. Moreover, this year is the opportunity for me for making many discoveries in order to evolve and grow. I arrived in Krakow one month ago and I am working in a special school with disabled teenagers. I had never worked in this kind of public school before and I had never been abroad alone.

Despite all the worries I had, I am now very happy. I’m surrounded by great people and discovering a lot of new ways of thinking. I enjoy my work every day. Additionally, I would say that participating in this project is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life.

Julie joined us as a volunteer in May 2021. We are able to host her as a participant of the #EcoSolidarity project under the European Solidarity Corps. it is a funding programme of the European Union that creates opportunities for young people to volunteer, work, train and run their own solidarity projects that benefit communities around Europe.
