Already on May 27 a unique carousel will come to Krakow!

The unusual sculpture-carousel Immotus verto is a work by French artist Christian Cébé. The art form is combined with the ecological nature of the installation, because, the carousel is powered by the muscle power of its users.

The carousel, and the events organized around it, is a space of joy for everyone, no matter their age or ethnicity. The Carousel will be available free of charge to every child for two weeks. It will arrive in Cracow from Oświęcim from where it will then travel to Krosno.

As the founder of the carousel says, it was created thinking about Ukrainian children who were forced to leave their country. It is intended to give them an opportunity to get away from traumatic experiences and bring some joy into their lives, as well as to be used by all residents of Krakow and others interested who wish to use it!

The carousel’s arrival in Krakow is organized by the Internationaler Bund Poland Foundation in partnership with the Nowa Huta Cultural Center.
