Multicultural Walk: Kazimierz district
On Sunday, July 6th, we met for a walking tour of Kraków’s Kazimierz district. The walk was led by our wonderful guide, Paulina, who did a fantastic job of sharing the rich history of this unique neighbourhood.
We visited places such as Esther’s and Meisels’s Streets, as well as several historic synagogues, some of which have been transformed into residential spaces over the years. The tour also included culinary highlights – we talked about zapiekanka, a cult-favorite Kraków street food that has been attracting crowds to Plac Nowy for years, especially on summer evenings.
It was a truly meaningful experience that offered a new perspective on Kazimierz – as a place full of history, everyday life, and vibrant energy.
Thank you for joining us!
