Multicultural Centre in Krakow: meet Paulina!
“It’s important that we know how to nurture our humanity
This thought has been with me since the very beginning of the Multicultural Centre project in Krakow, which started in 2021. Working to recognize and include people who have chosen Krakow as their home, sometimes coming from very far away, has greatly influenced who I am and how I see the world. I’m grateful to be able to pursue this mission every day alongside the fantastic people who make up our Centre’s team.
The Multicultural Centre is not only a colorful, welcoming space where everyone can feel at ease, but above all, it is a tangible example of what empathy, understanding, and openness to others truly mean.”
That is how Paulina Pilipiuk, the project coordinator of the Multicultural Centre in Krakow, describes her work.
Paulina, a member of the IB Polska Foundation team, has been involved in the Centre’s activities since its inception in 2021. She is not only a constant presence but also an indispensable part of it, the heart and driving force behind many initiatives that build bridges between people of different backgrounds and stories.
It is with her words that we begin a new series of posts, where we want to introduce you to the people who co-create our Centre. We want you to get to know our team better and always know who you can turn to with a question, an idea, or simply for a kind word.
