Invitation to a workshop dedicated to the map and culture of Italy

Join us next Monday (July 14) at 17:00 for an eye-opening workshop on how maps shape the way we see the world and ourselves. Through interactive activities and open discussion, we’ll explore how geographic projections can distort reality and reinforce simplified, often Eurocentric, narratives.

What to expect:

• A fresh look at the map of Italy – textbook vs. satellite view
• How maps influence cultural perceptions and mental borders
• North vs. South – where do these ideas come from?
• Alternative world maps: Peters, Hobo Dyer, “The True Size Of…”
• Collective reflection and discussion

This is a space to question what we think we know and imagine new ways of seeing the world.
