A walk around Zakrzówek
This week, the summer weather has truly spoiled us, and we decided to make the most of it!
Last Wednesday, August 6th, we went for a walk in one of the most impressive spots on the map of Kraków – Zakrzówek. Our guide was the wonderful Paulina, who told us about the rich history of this place, from its time as a quarry to the protests that saved Zakrzówek from commercial development. There was also a touch of legend – we visited the cave where the legendary Mr. Twardowski is said to have had his workshop. After the walk, we enjoyed a picnic.
Many thanks to everyone who joined us, and to Paulina for guiding us through this unique part of Kraków.
