Multicultural Centre in Krakow: meet Ludmiła!

Meet Ludmiła – the coordinator of the Information Point for Foreigners, which operates as part of the Multicultural Centre in Krakow.

“I have been associated with the IB Polska Foundation since March 2021. I started my career as a consultant at the Information Point for Foreigners, operating within the Multicultural Center. From January 2022 to the present day, I have been the coordinator of the Point.

My daily routine involves organizing and coordinating activities that have a real impact on the lives of people who – for various reasons – have found themselves in Poland and are trying to rebuild their lives here. The Information Point is the first place of contact, providing basic information, advice, and specialist support. It is a place where people meet people.

By education, I am a social worker – and by vocation, I am a person who supports others every day with empathy, care, and professionalism. For me, it’s not just a job, but a real passion. It is very important for me to do something every day that has a real impact on the quality of life of particular people and to be part of the aid sector.

I am deeply connected to the IB Polska Foundation because I can see up close how much good is being done thanks to the team’s joint efforts in favour of the residents of Krakow.”
