Invitation to Mia Tomé and Clara Lacerda’s concert

This Thursday, our space will be immersed in an extraordinary concert and poetic performance by Mia Tomé, a Portuguese voice artist, actress, and vocalist, accompanied by the wonderful pianist Clara Lacerda.

And if you already know you won’t be able to join us that day, no worries: our partners at Villa Decius invite you to the same concert in their space on Friday, November 21, at 6:00 PM.

“Herbarium in the Desert” is an original project inspired by the work of Emily Dickinson — a celebration of the word, the Portuguese language, and women’s poetry. Music, voice, and performance intertwine here into a sensual journey through the sonic landscape of the desert. The program explores motifs of gardens, love, the undiscovered self, and existential reflections, presented through emotion, movement, and the colours of three cultures.
