Hello! I am Gabriele, I am 28 years old and I am an Italian guy, from Rome. I am into science, backpacking travels, politics, reading, sports, in particular tennis, which I played for many years, learning languages.

I like volunteering and I know how important it can be, now I am volunteering in a primary school in Krakow for ten months. I decided to come here for the ESC project because I was interested in a long-term volunteering experience abroad, in particular in the school since I am very interested in the education field. I chose Poland because I knew a bit about this country, I liked it very much and I was curious about getting to know it better. I hope to enjoy my time here and to open further my mind!

Gabriele joined us as a volunteer in September 2020. We are able to host him as a participant of the #EcoSolidarity project under the European Solidarity Corps. it is a funding programme of the European Union that creates opportunities for young people to volunteer, work, train and run their own solidarity projects that benefit communities around Europe.
