As every two weeks, the craft workshops at IB Polska turned Wednesday afternoon into a joyful space for creativity and connection. This autumn session was dedicated to crafting decorative candle holders, inspired by the warm and cozy spirit of the season. Using simple materials such as glass jars, dried flowers, burlap fabric, ribbons, and even real autumn leaves, participants transformed everyday household jars into beautiful handmade decorations ,perfect for this time of year.

The workshop was led by Aneta, with the support of Paula and Maria, volunteers from the European Solidarity Corps. Together, we guided the participants step by step through the process, helping them design and personalize their own candle holders.
Throughout the session, the atmosphere was filled with creativity, laughter, and conversation. Neighbors of all ages joined in, sharing stories and ideas while discovering how easy and satisfying it can be to give a second life to ordinary glass jars. Each participant added a personal touch , some preferred rustic styles, others went for minimalist or nature-inspired designs ,resulting in a colorful display of unique creations.

By the end of the afternoon, everyone proudly carried home their handmade candle holders, eager to use them and show them off. The smiles and enthusiasm confirmed that these workshops are not only about crafting objects, but about building community and awakening creativity.

We’re already looking forward to our next session, which will take place on Wednesday, November 12th at 5:00 p.m., at the IB Polska offices in Nowa Huta. Come join us to light up another evening with imagination, warmth, and creativity!
