June was a turning point for our group of European Solidarity Corps volunteers. Eugenia, Neamat, Khatia, Antonia and Mariami completed their projects, and have come back to their countries. All of them learnt at least a bit of Polish and improved their English. Eugenia was so good that she never missed a Polish class, and her outstanding language skills prove it.
There was a farewell party. It was finally time for karaoke, and during the last evening together we could sing aloud our favourite songs. Then there was a special moment to celebrate the volunteers leaving. They received little presents and a personal certificate of achievement, where it was stated which goals they reached.
Throughout the project, they all showed how independent and brave they are. They moved to a new country and they overcame all the challenges that arose in these ten months. Congratulations, you did it, and you did great a job!
