EVS vacancies in Cracow, Poland - September 2018 - June 2019

Project is open for candidates from programme and partner countries, but please note that there are limited vacancies for volunteers from partner countries as we already have chosen volunteers to this project, and we have limited budget for exeptional costs (visa and other formalities). 


Project EVS "Equal Volunteering" will take part in Cracow, the mobility will start in September 2018 and finish in the end of June 2019. 10 volunteers who come from different cultural backgrounds, such as Egypt, Tunisia, Armenia, Turkey, Spain and Germany are already chosen to take part in the project. Our volunteers are young people aged 18 to 30, both women and men.

Kindergarden No 92 will be supported by 2 volunteers and in Autism Center there will be 2 assisting volunteers as well. The group of volunteers will be very various and it will support the multicultural dialogue of cultures, which will be not only valuable for volunteers but also for their co-workers. The main issue that will be implemented in the project is equality as well as the promotion of social inclusion, main topics will be implemented during work and meetings with various excluded groups.

Volunteer will receive food allowance & pocket money, will be accommodated in shared room (with access to kitchen and bathroom), will live with other EVS volunteers from our projects in Krakow. Volunteer will get monthly ticket for trams and buses in Krakow (including transfer from the workplace to the residence, the whole city, night buses).

Travel costs from/to home countries will be reimburse to the limit according to Erasmus+ calculator.


Basic introduction and short training in a workplace, and additionally:

1) On-arrival training in Warsaw - Polish National Agency (6 days)
2) Mid-term training in Torun - Polish National Agency (5 days)
3) Polish language course provided by Coordinating organisation. Course will be held by professional Polish as a foreign language teacher. Duration of the course depends on the length of the project. As a coordinating organization, we will provide other opportunities to practice Polish (tandem meetings etc.).

4) Additional workshops and meetings (individual and in group)


Experience in work with children and youth will be an additional asset, however it is not compulsory. Good communication skills are also and additional asset because the project is based on communication with other people. All creative skills - artistic or motor skills – can enrich the project. The same relates to computer skills. Volunteers should be open-minded and sensitive towards needs of others. Due to the nature of the target group and special focus on work with children/young adults, also with disabilities, volunteer should not be afraid of disabled people and their reactions.
